Production of Detailed Sheet Metal and Machined Components
With total commitment to strict aerospace quality and delivery expectations we are continually investing in new technology and skills to advance our position within the industry.
With its CNC and conventional machines, Jetglow produces highly accurate and consistent metal piece part manufacture, either machined or sheet metal fabricated parts, inspected with our precision measuring apparatus, the Coordinate Measuring Machine CMM).
To provide that finishing touch, Jetglow Leeds and Jetglow Manchester both have high specification spray booths and skilled painters, to ensure the surface finish is applied faithfully, thus enhancing the appearance and durability of the part.
Having highly competent engineers, with the latest equipment, means we are equally proficient at producing one-offs to supplement delays in your supply line, or complete production runs.
All of our processes comply with the exacting standards set out by NADCAP and primes such as Boeing, BAe and Airbus. These high end processes are also complemented by additional in house testing and quality monitoring services.
Aerospace parts must adhere to incredibly tight tolerances to ensure precision and reliability. With even the slightest deviation, the performance and safety of the entire system could be compromised. The heat treatment of alloys and metals is crucial to achieving these precise tolerances. Heat treatment processes eg solution treatment, polymer quenching and precipitation hardening enable the material to achieve specific properties such as improved strength, hardness, and dimensional stability
Panels and Fairings
Jetglow is approved under Part 21G to produce panels such as floorboards, overhead storage dividers, cargo bay sidewall panels, window scratch panes and other non-complex composite panels.
Carpet Kit Production
Airline operators often need to change their carpets, perhaps due to rebranding, or changes to the cabin configuration or LOPA, or perhaps just due to wear and tear, whatever your reason, Jetglow is here to support your needs. Including cutting to shape and size and overlocking. The raw carpet can be delivered directly to our production facility from the carpet manufacturer, ready for cutting and overlocking before being packaged into kits ready for delivery to the customer, or for our team to install on your aircraft.
Decals & Aircraft Livery Production
Decals
Jetglow is approved under Part 21 subpart G to manufacture Decals to your design requirements. Alternatively, together with our Part 21J Design partners, we can help bring your design concepts to life, whether due to a short-term wet lease, a rebranding or a temporary promotional project.
To support the Part 21 production of decals, we have an experienced team, that can be rapidly deployed to your site, to remove the old decals and markings and install the newly manufactured decals.
External and Interior Decals / Placards and stencils can be produced as individual parts or in kit form.
External decals are made to the exacting requirements of the approved data, typically from solvent proof vinyl, so they can withstand the rigors of flight, aircraft cleaning and deicing.
Our database of aircraft typesets and languages is constantly being updated and we are always happy to expand it further, to cover your custom designs, if we can’t already cover your requirements from our extensive stock.
Aircraft Livery
Jetglow has over 15 years of experience and expertise providing airlines with their branded livery requirements, not only manufacturing the insignia under Part 21 requirements, but deploying a team to affix the exterior and inertia branding.
There are multiple reasons why an aircraft livery may change, such as supporting an expanding fleet, rebranding, or aircraft moving from one operator to another, and from time to time, airlines may choose a commemorative livery to celebrate a special event, or to celebrate their own history opting for a heritage or retro livery. With our Part 21J approved design partners, Jetglow can help take your idea, from concept to reality, whatever your reason, Jetglow will support.
Stencils
Airlines often choose to apply their branding, externally, internally, or on equipment, such as galley carts by paint application; to do this accurately, and in a repeatable manner, the use of paint stencils are one the most effective ways, Jetglow can produce your stencils, to your design by use of it hi-tech stencil printers.
